ABOUT US
Holygate of Heaven Church began in October 2012 at Moi Primary School, as a fellowship under the leadership of Apostle Alex Lwamba and his wife, Reverend Cecilia Mwongeli. Through God’s grace, they were entrusted with the vision to lead this ministry.
After six months of humble fellowship, the gathering grew so significantly that the space could no longer hold the people. Glory to God! Through prayer and divine provision, the church acquired its own land behind Chepkube Market, off Mumias Road, adjacent to Mupeli Primary School — the current location of the church.
By the grace of God, Holygate has witnessed tremendous spiritual and numerical growth, now hosting over 500 active members.
The Pillar of the word
The Word builds a strong and unshakable church. It anchors us in truth when the world sways with confusion and compromise. It trains, corrects, and empowers both leaders and believers to stand firm, share the Gospel boldly, and live lives that reflect Christ. Without the Word, the Church loses its direction — but with it, we rise in wisdom, purpose, and eternal hope.
The Pillar of Prayer
Prayer is the heartbeat of the Church — the pillar that aligns us with God's will, empowers both leaders and members, and invites the supernatural into our midst. Through prayer, we gain divine strength, boldness, and wisdom, enabling us to walk in purpose. It acts as a shield, protecting and preserving the Church from spiritual attacks, while also building unity among believers and stirring faith within the congregation.
The pillar of Holiness
Holiness is the heartbeat of the Church — a call to live set apart, fully devoted to God in thought, word, and deed. As a pillar, holiness anchors the Church in purity, integrity, and reverence, not just in appearance but in the depths of character. It is the outward expression of an inward transformation, a life that reflects God's nature and His standard of righteousness.
